Holocaust Memorial Day 2026 - Reflection Across Derbyshire
Holocaust Memorial Day 2026 saw the Derbyshire Jewish Community deliver three meaningful events across the county, bringing remembrance into civic, cultural, and multi-faith spaces. Mitzvah Day 2025 Success
Mitzvah Day 2025 was marked by a month-long programme of volunteering by members of the Derbyshire Jewish Community in support of Joybank Sheffield. Volunteers gave their time to help a community food bank supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity. Derby Honours Jewish US Civil War Veteran
A truly special event in Derby: the DJC was honoured to participate in a memorial for American Civil War veteran Henry McGuinness. We brought our cultural traditions to the fore, offering prayers and placing stones of remembrance on the memorial.
